"I've been dowsing for a few weeks now. Lately, I've been asking about my ex-partner, and the pendulum is consistently giving me a positive response. To rule out the ideomotor effect, I’ve tried the following:

• Cross-verified with my non-dominant hand (the answer stayed the same).
• Used 'control' questions I already know the answer to.
