Some sensory suggestions

Hi! im ND and have finally started accepting its okay to have sensory issues and accommodate them and I feel like i rly need some suggestions on where to start.. my two big big issues are definitely

-NOISE :( I HATE HATE HATE LOUD NOISE

-Light... i have one small lamp in the corner of my room because lights (esp fluorescent, not warm lighting) gives me a big headache and makes me so sad

Ive been looking at loop earplugs recently to help with the noise but they are pricey and i get so nervous to drop money on things especially bc i have sensitive ears that have a lot of problems with earbuds. my ears are pretty small too LOL but if they are really worth it i will absolutely buy them! I want some recommendations for those too :3

For the light.. i honestly dont know what to do. Wearing sunglasses isnt the most accepted indoors (especially as a student) and classtime is when it rly bothers me. Im assuming some slightly tinted glasses exist, but i also would like those to be budget friendly. if anything else helps you guys PLEASEEEE let me know (mostly ones that apply in public spaces since i can control my dorm lights)

if you need more specifics plsplspls ask and let me know! thank you so muchh :3

Wii U Pedometer question

Okay, this may seem stupid at first because I know I can't use a wii u pedometer without a wii u... but could i hypothetically somehow emulate a wii u on my pc and then use the pedometer through that? I love frutiger aero looking tech and carrying this thing around on me would be awesome, im just not willing to buy a wii u to use it (i already have a wii otherwise i lowkey would)

Newbie Isopod Tips?

Hi! I’m currently a college student and I want to start taking care of isopods.

I do live in a dorm right now, so my tank size is restricted to 10 gallons but I seriously doubt that would be a problem with isopods.

I’d just like to know a bit about costs, good terrariums, and tips for maintenance, since I don’t really know much about taking care of pets that live in enclosures (i’ve only had cats)

About costs, I’m not broke but I definitely don’t have tons of money to throw around, so more cost effective options would be AMAZING!! I still want what’s best for these little dudes though, so i’m okay with spending a bit.

Thank you soooo much! I take any advice, both good and bad. :)

New camera recommendations

Hi! Recently, my Sony Cybershot (can’t remember the exact specs) broke and i’m looking for a replacement.

It had 20.1mp which was SO nice and i’m looking for something like that again but a bit on the cheap side. I can’t drop 500 on a camera as a college student that takes photos for a hobby 🥲

I’m all for buying secondhand and usually buy cameras from ebay, so I don’t mind old models as long as they have good quality. Here’s a checklist of what i’d like, but none of this is a necessity!

-Good quality photos
-Zoom isn’t a necessity, I rarely use it
-Flash
-Durability (I want to travel with this thing)
-Under $200

Thank you!! :)

Hi! I'm currently looking for job recommendations in the Metro Atlanta area (preferably nothing north of Lindbergh) I am not looking for a job over reddit, simply some advice and suggestions from people with more experience than me. I am a high school graduate that's attending college at Agnes Scott this fall, and I'm trying to look for something that is in the city due to the fact I do not currently own a car. I also have a bit of restrictions due to still being a minor, and I do not turn 18 until I start classes.

My resume isn't the greatest, as I've only done an internship at an art gallery and worked at a church for about 9 months, so anything too competitive is out of the window. I have a lot more things listed under education since I was very active at my high school and held a lot of leadership positions, but I'm not sure if that matters the most for a job interview.

Also, I'm willing to work full time over the summer, but when I begin classes that won't be viable anymore.

Thank you so much for reading this! I appreciate any and all feedback, even the negative kind.
