Should I update from AMD to Nvidia to use substance painter?
Is it true that AMD graphics cards suck when using Painter?

I was reading this great article that goes into into detail about how to optimize my meshes for nanite, but I have come away from it very confused about how it can be used for hard surface models. In the old workflow you could use transparency but now that's too expensive. also nanite doesn't like the use of multiple meshes so you need to combine them to one large mesh, but isn't that just retopology? Not only retopology but high to mid poly retopology? I'm not looking forward to the UV's for that.
I'm sure I'm way off but I haven't seen many examples of realistic sci fi interiors made in UE5 that doesn't have some performance issues.
Does anyone know of some examples or have any experience creating a hard surface environment in UE5? Or should I just use the old workflows and go without Nanite and Lumen.
I 3d modeled this a few years ago just wanting to do a MD player in the dimensions of a Walkman. It's not great and also not a cassette player but I was thinking of doing a whole heap more designs for a video game environment. But I do have to decide on a my own brand names for the designs I make. If you got any name ideas I would be happy to hear them!
