How to maintain friendship w/o the romance drama???

I’m a 25F and I work a full-time job. I've had a hard time making friends with other girls and I’m pretty sure it’s not a me problem cuz I’ve always been nice to them even when they completely ignore my existence :')

I sometimes wonder if they’re jealous of me in some way cuz (please don’t take this as a brag) I look a bit pretty or if it’s simply because our mindsets and interests are different. I really crave female friendships but I’ve ended up having more guy friends. Some of them even joke that I’m “a guy in a girl’s body” cuz I’m into things that are stereotypically associated with guys y'know WWE, dark/dank memes, action and sci-fi movies, etc.

The problem is that lately I’ve noticed that some of my guy friends eventually catch feelings for me. Things get awk when they confess cuz I genuinely see them only as friends (or even like brothers). When I turn them down, some get angry and block me while others keep begging me to “give them a chance” just cuz they “love me” 😑

I know some girls might enjoy having guys fall for them but honestly I find it EXHAUSTING!! 😭

So how do I make sure my current / future guy friends understand that I’m only interested in friendship and avoid things turning romantic? Would appreciate some advice on this 🙏🏻

[Miscellaneous] Need help in understanding skin type

Hey guys! I’m a 25F from South Asia. I had pretty normal, clear skin all the way through graduation. After I started working, I became curious about how my face would look without facial hair, especially on my cheeks and jawline, since facial hair is pretty common for women where I’m from.
I even asked a colleague for advice because her mom works at a salon. She suggested threading, and my dumb ass decided to go for it in an attempt to fit beauty standards cuz I’ve always been a bit insecure about my appearance.
And BOOM… acne! Not anything extremely severe or cystic, but I started breaking out, especially on my cheeks back then. I’m also pretty convinced it changed my skin type somehow.
Now I’m confused about what my skin type actually is. Before all this, I never really had to think about it. After the threading and breakouts, my skin felt quite oily for a while. These days, though, it doesn’t seem particularly oily, but my cheeks and forehead still have a bit of shine to them.
I’ve attached a photo of my face (identity hidden for privacy), and I’d realllyyyy appreciate any opinions or insights you guys might have on my skin type, texture, or anything else you notice 😊

The photo is taken from the back camera with the flash on FYI

[Routine Help] Need advice on smoothening and lightening underarms at home

I’m a 25F Indian and I’ve been waxing my arms, legs and underarms through at-home salon services after realising that shaving was not only time-consuming, but also seemed to make my hair feel coarser over time.

The problem is while most of my friends who wax their underarms have really smooth skin, mine still has visible black dots and never actually looks smooth, which is ironic because that was one of the main reasons I switched to waxing in the first place.

Could you guys please suggest some budget-friendly things I could try to improve this? I might consider laser after I get a better-paying job 😅

FYI: My arms, legs, and underarms are pretty sensitive, so I’d prefer gentler options and not harsh chemicals just for quick results.
