White, deranged man with wild hair who will scream at anyone. Yelled at me to get out of the way or he’d swear he would run me over (he had a citi bike) and then called me a scumbag bitch. Lol. Then he rode over to variety and slammed the bike down on the ground and started harassing the people sitting outside. Some guy gave him money but didn’t stop him from going up to the window and staring/yelling at the people sitting there working.
I moved away from nyc for two years and came back and I swear this is the same dude I’ve seen on Graham before. Does anyone know what’s up with him? Have had an encounter with him? He is always yelling.
I'm dealing with a nonunion foot fracture plus a stress fracture on top of it and my current ortho wants to charge me $195 for every follow-up plus $75 for X-rays which will definitely add up fast. I don't need a luxury experience or a beautiful office....I just want someone knowledgeable who explains things well and doesn't make me feel like I'm paying hundreds of dollars for a 5-minute visit every few weeks.
I tried a less expensive podiatrist in Queens before this, but she didn't seem very familiar with my specific injury, so now I'm stuck between feeling under-treated or feeling financially robbed.
Would love recommendations from other self-pay patients, especially if you've had experience with foot injuries. Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan are all fine.
These are my mri results from yesterday. I broke my 5th metatarsal in Jan and it hasn’t fully healed. I don’t know what I should do. I’m a self pay patient and bringing this to a dr near me is $250 which I’d rather just put towards physical therapy if I need that. My dad said PT could irritate it/make it worse. So I really am unsure what to do.
I have pain randomly at top of foot when I walk (it was even like this pre break, for years) and on Monday I walked around 20k steps… last night and today my fracture site is actually hurting, and I canceled some plans today to just chill at home… so hoping someone can point me in the right direction of what to do 😭
