Thrifted for 2 dollars today!!! Only problem is the small chip, I’ve tried using baking soda and a scrub as well as boiling with baking soda. Is the chip something I should worry about or just use as normal? Thank you!

I need some help reattaching this wire, the battery charges when it touches but I don’t want to have to take the panel off every time I need to charge it. Any advice on how to permanently reattach it helps thanks.
