Vintage DW-260 (heavy duty line) is a beauty!

Released before the first G-SHOCK at the end of the eighties, this watch pack a punch with a sleek design.

-200meters water resistance

-stopwatch

-timer

-dual time (has to be set manually)

-alarm

-REMinder function

-backlight (F91W worthy)

Manufactured in Japan in the eighties.

I think I paid 40€ shipped for mine, plus 40€ shipped for a replacement band I bought from ebay and imported from Serbia to France, cause the OG one des integrated within the first hour wearing it.

The watch has a good recensé (40.4grams) while being slim (see picture 5).

At some angles the display becomes blurry, in a way modern screen don't (not just

ghosting, see picture 8).

Also I can get the perfect fit with this ont. I love my G-SHOCK square but those always are a tiny bit too tight or too loose.

I have a W-720 one the way (similar but 100m WR and slime).

Who uses a lug adaptater here? I need help

I think this nato looks cool for the summer and matches well the A168 colors (blue + red/orange), but what bothers me is that the adaptater always end up in a position which "elevate" it too much from my wrist (don't know if this makes sens, I'm French, excusez moi), do you have a technique too make the adaptater stay "flat" on the wrist?

Problem easier to see on the last picture.

The Holy 3 are mine, MINE!

I completed last week my small collection.

I want to restrain myself to those three beauties, and don't want to own more.

I own a GW-M5610 which I gave to my wife, a W59 which I gave to my daughter and sold my MTP-1302, my MRW-200H and my A700WE.

A few more SKMEIs not worth selling, waiting to be gifted to youngsters from my family.

The only exception is a true vintage from the 80's, a beautiful DW 260, which is waiting for her new genuine Casio strap (on the way).
