I’m looking to grab a gt86 I’ve been looking online but if you guys have any suggestions on where to look would appreciate it. I’ve looked at Autotrader and fb marketplace

I am looking to buy an rx8 2004 left on storage since 2015 no rust that I can see 2 owners 54k miles so major red flags on the mot history. How long would this car last. Is it a good purchase. It has a recall that mazda will repair. What would be a good price range wha should o be cautious of. I have read up on the car and its rotary engines but if you guys could give me the run down as if I don’t know anything would be great inacse I missed anything out. Thanks

I am thinking of buying a gt86 for local use and the occasional 100 mile journeys every couple of months. The millage on the car is 187k. This is what I know.
It’s a 2014 model
They bought it damaged and over the past few months repaired it for.

It's now taxed, insured and has 12 month MOT.

They have done about a thousand miles in

Front bumper and slam panel have been replaced, as well as a few plastic bits that were broken. Both rear wheel bearings were replaced with brand new ones as well. The car is by no means perfect, but it's the good base from which you could either make it really nice or make it a track/race/drift car or whatever else you have in mind.

No history with it and one key.

It's not modified apart from the valved exhaust.
