so theres no direct download option for live USB iso and the torrents just dont work, how am i supposed to get the iso?

Title, basically im a student wanting to pursue a career in cybersecurity, preferably defensive security, I want to know how have other professional gotten into their career? did they start with software engineer or is it time wasting?
