Man I love this sport, few things can match the adrenaline and pure joy of snowboarding.

Who else is falling victim to gearing up the quiver too soon? 🤣

The pre-season excitement gets me every time. Few of mountains around me got their first higher altitude dusting and I ran straight to the quiver.

Nighttime BP

Has this been a total game changes for anyone that logs/tracks their BP closely?

This has been an added feature that has completely changed the game for me. Having insight into what my blood pressure does at night, how much it dips in comparison to day time etc has helped me immensely. Also it allows you to add your cuff readings and keep it nice and tracked for you. I usually take a reading in the morning and 1 more shortly after my meal to keep a nice detailed log for those PCP visits. It also helped me figure out which things are the biggest drivers of my blood pressure going up which had me re evaluating some diet/beverage choices. Extremely useful feature.

How we looking?

Long time lurker, this is a dope community.

Decided to post for the first time today.

I started self barbering around Covid knowing no one would see me for days at a time for when it goes left. In the beginning I’d mess up a lot but after many YouTube videos and trial and error I got to a point where I’m like “yeah this will do”. The first few months it would take hours, my equipment would get hot and hands sweaty, usually id F it all up and just buzz it all off closed guard to try again in a few weeks. I leaned a lot more from the REALLY bad cuts than the decent ones. Covid ended and all but barbers started charging $80-$100 a cut and I knew I could never go back. Typically I do 3 on top and drop it down all the way to skin on the way down. I have only ever used the #3, #2, #1.5, #1 and .5 guards, I free hand the beard with my clippers and just touch it up with a blade, sometimes just the peanut if I’m lazy. Don’t know many other styles and haven’t experimented much, but this is where I’m at these days as far as how it’s been going. I am still on my first set of clippers I initially got, I take pride in maintaining them even though I’ve been really tempted lately to go cordless. I use Wahl Legend clippers, Andis T-outliner , Andis profoil shaver.
