So, genuine question about something Wings of Fire related

For the geographers too, what would happen if Wings of Fire after the end of Book 15, let’s say 2 years after, is found by the Real World to exist in the Pacific Ocean out of the blue. Often, I have a temporary curb stomp war against dragons, then the dual-revelation the other is sentient. But it could very much differ, so I’d like to ask what everyone else thinks.
