Vapor glove 6 sole durability

Amazon reviews show sole is getting flat after unreasonably short time..
I really want to get them but as a nomad who travel on foot I need something reliable.. I usually don’t have addresses and am in remote undeveloped countries…

Any recommendations..?

Best sandal footbed for sweaty feet.

Have the eartheunners alpha and really like the footbed .. need to change as they are worn out.. anyone has experience with pies sucios ? How is the footbed..
same question for zuzu.. the canvas foot bed ..
And any recommendations for any other brand that makes a nice foot bed .. I don’t like plastic feeling and it makes me sweat a lot.

At the moment looking for something down from 10mm … but would like to know how is the bedrock footbed in that matter.

There is absolutely no shop even kilometers from where I live for trying .. (!)

Mostly running on asphalt and light trail and trekking/hiking ..
I’m a nomad so I can’t have few pairs .. it need to be all around shoe that can handle trekking but not to be to thick.. I had the v trek few years ago and they were not breathable enough for me and also prefer lower ankle…

Tent stakes choice

Heading to ladakh in India now and after researching here in older post quite got the deal with the different options.. just looking for some one with experience in the area to take the right ones with me as I’m not sure about the types of soils there…
Would like to get recs from someone with experience in that specific area.. I use 6-8 stakes for my tent so how many backup ones should I have regarding the stiffness of the ground
I have 4 cyclone msr and 9 Y shaped and aluminum from 3f ul and some cheap Y random stakes from aliexpress (which bend easily) but don’t want to carry the cyclones for nothing they are super heavy..

Umbrella vs pvc light suit for rain in the Himalayas

Recommendations?
Available to buy here the knirps US0.50 at 115g..
How will the rain/wind protection do.?
The pvc set would be around 250-300g for too and bottom.. high altitude usually higher than 3000m … can you set the umbrella on the pack to not have to hold it ? ..
have a disposable top&bottom for setting up tent on rain ..

Lanshan 1 weather performance.

Got the cirriform DW before the flight to India ..
Didn’t thought that the normal pitch would be so open to rain and wind..and low pitch is not comfortable ..
import fees are huge and I’m thinking on replacing to lanshan 1 which is the only available option here..
my friend has one, space for the backpack inside the inner.. good rain protection without sacrificing comfort.. and cheap ..

Any experience with lanshan weather resistance would be great to know about.. what makes it less sturdy/weather proof than other mids like the solomid xl..?

Update!: after getting the chance to scratch both the normal side and aluminized side with my fingernail in different ways and force I can definitely say that the aluminized side is MUCH(!!) more abrasion resistant and is actually hard hard to damage it with fingernail where’s the normal side gets very easily damaged from same abuse..so in this specific pad I can definitely Say that if used silver side to face the abrasive surface the aluminized model will be much more resistant to abrasion. For the penalty of 70g if you get the panels number equal..

Alu version was out of stock and came back now.. .. 70g difference when cutting one panel from the aluminized (12panels vs 13) same price ..decathlon says aluminum version will help with abrasion..

difference in heat reflection or abrasion..?

The aluminum version of the mt500 accordion mat is out of stock here.. need to buy 2 ccf for layering on cold weather (don’t want inflatable)

The aluminumless mt500 is 2cm thick rated R2.1 ..

wandering if to get two of those(upper one will just be 6 panels.. or one mt500 and one random Chinese 1.8 cm thick with aluminum lining..?

Switchback and zlite are 3 times expensive here..
