3 traveling merchants at the same time

I don't know how common this is for the other players... but I played thousands of hours and first time seeing 3 merchants (Cricket, Doc Weathers and Lucas)at the same in a settlement. A lot of mercenaries, too.

"Because Japanese people were smiling," said the Chinese man who targeted elderly men for non-consensual sexual intercourse; he confessed to having attempted it on 14 people, detailing his methods and motives.

A 42-year-old Chinese national, a company employee residing in Bungo-Ono City, has been indicted on charges of non-consensual indecency, attempted non-consensual indecency, and non-consensual sexual intercourse. The defendant is accused of committing indecent acts against a man in his 70s in the city between November and December of last year, without giving him time to form a consent.

At the initial trial held at the Oita District Court on the 21st, the defendant, a slender man around 160 cm tall with short hair and wearing a tracksuit, admitted to the charges through an interpreter, stating, "There is no mistake."

Bungo-Ono City in Oita Prefecture has a population of 30,000, half of whom are over 65. Last year, a series of non-consensual sexual assaults targeting elderly men occurred in this peaceful mountain town. The 42-year-old Chinese national indicted in this case admitted to the charges at the initial trial on the 21st, and spoke about his motives and methods.

The prosecutor's opening statement revealed a despicable scheme that exploited the goodwill of the community. "I tried to kill 14 people," he confessed, having come to Japan alone for his family's sake.

Born and raised in China, the defendant realized around the age of 20 that his sexual orientation was towards older men. Around the age of 36, after seeing sexual videos of older men together online, he began to feel a desire to try it himself.

The defendant has a wife and two children, but he came to Japan alone as a technical intern, relying on his brother and sister-in-law who run a farm in Bungo-Ono City, saying, "I want to earn money for my children." (Defendant) "When I bowed on the street, Japanese people smiled and bowed back. That's why I thought I should commit the crime."

Two months after arriving in Japan, around September, having become accustomed to living alone, he began to scout the neighborhood by walking around his home and driving his light truck, attempting to commit the crime.

(Defendant) "I tried with 14 people. I was able to do what I wanted in Japan. I think I was able to commit indecent acts with about half of them." Indecent acts disguised as massage

The crime was instantaneous. Upon finding an elderly man alone on the street, she would say in Japanese, "You look well, how old are you?" and "I'm good at massages," and begin massaging his shoulders. The victim initially thought it was a kind gesture, but the defendant's hands gradually moved to his lower abdomen.

At that moment, he unzipped his pants, slipped his hand inside his underwear, and committed an indecent act. (Defendant) "I offered massages because I didn't want to scare them when we first met. I thought it would be okay if they didn't refuse."

She said she would stop the act and leave immediately if the victim resisted. "To have my groin massaged by a complete stranger..."

The incident came to light in December of last year. The defendant told her brother and sister-in-law she was feeling unwell and took the day off work. She went for a walk and saw an elderly man, intending to commit an indecent act.

The defendant approached the man when he was alone, spoke to him, and massaged his shoulders and waist. The man, thinking she was giving him a massage out of kindness, let her continue, but then the defendant touched his lower body over his pants. Sensing the man's discomfort, the defendant stopped and fled. The man contacted the police, saying, "I wanted to forget being touched in the groin by a complete stranger, but I thought someone else might suffer a worse fate."

Five days later, on the 19th, police officers were speaking with the man near the scene when they encountered the defendant, who happened to be passing by. When the police questioned the defendant, asking if she had massaged anyone, she readily admitted, "I massaged that man."

The defendant was arrested and indicted.
