So Thats a Thing...Fallout Edition

So, I came acoss my trusty shotgun a long while ago and was having zero difficulties against legendary anythings in Very Hard difficulty, and figured it couldn't get easier. Well, ladies, gentlemen, and everything in between, I was wrong. This is absurd!

I haven't used it yet but I'm sure with my silencer perks etc, its bound to one shot just about anything I come across from a sneak position. For more info, I did upgrade it to the fullest of my abilities after acquiring, same with the shotty.

So follow up question, what's the most broken weapon you've acquired in FO4? How long before you put it up, never to use it again? Throw me some funny ones while I go test this bad boy out on some unsuspecting Raiders. 🤣

Update: I happened upon a sentry bot upon my merry way to clear out the Corvega Plant for Preston...again, it saw me before I realized it was there. It didn't take long at all. I shot twice but honestly, I think I missed one, so I'll have to try again to make sure.

Whistling merry toons while I work over here 🤣😆

What is your fav settlement? What have you build on it and how much time did you spend creating it? For me it was 100% the Starlight Drive-In. I am still building at it with over 40 hours of trying to make the best out of it. Basicly now I reached the point that I call it "Little Diamond City"

Why did Valentine's Assistant send me to a place that doesn't exist? Is it underground?

I had the same thing happen in the same place for a brotherhood quest. How do I fix it? I assume it is a bug.

I kept the Deep Range Ttransmitter for myself.

I ran away with it before Paladin Danse could offer me his crappy laser. I also visited Knight Rhys back at the police station. He had said some hurtful things to me, and I really needed to talk it out with him.

I was only going to slap him a few times with my pipe wrench "Big Jim." Things got out of hand. It's not really my fault though because I was taking PsychoJet.

Long time console player, just bought Fallout 4 for PC. Any advice?

Hi long time console player, finally treated myself to a decent gaming PC set up and bought Fallout 4. I loved this game for the console but had trouble with its performance on my PS5. Creation club items almost always made my game tank. Any advice for someone coming over from the console world. I have heard there are recommended mods for some game fixes. Wanted to see what the community recommended. Thank you in advance. 🙌🏻🙋🏼‍♂️

"Yes, Garvey, don't blame me, you heard what Marcy said, oh, I'm taking the fusion core too"

In my most recent playthrough, I decided to try things a little different and simply postpone the Minuteman storyline till later.

I'm telling the entire commonwealth.

Multiple people in Sunshine Tidings Co-op know. Therefore Sam should know the truth.

How many cars do you think are in Fallout 4? (w/ answer)

As a follow-up to my previous post about the number of skeletons in the game, I started looking around for other interesting counts. I ended up landing on vehicles. So...

How many cars (and motorcycles) do you think there are?

Answer:

  • >!Coupe (Corvega Blitz): 957!<
  • >!Sedan (Atomic V-8): 826!<
  • >!Pickup Truck (Pick-R-Up): 603!<
  • >!Sports Car (Cherry Bomb): 376!<
  • >!Van: 315!<
  • >!Mini (Zip): 132!<
  • >!Fusion Flea: 105!<
  • >!Motorcycle (Lone Wanderer): 64!<
  • >!TOTAL: 4240!<

If anyone's curious about other forms of transport, here are a few others I checked:

  • Trucks: 397
  • Rowboats: 370
  • Fishing Boats: 190
  • Buses: 113
  • Tugboats: 32
  • APCs: 31
  • Forklifts: 27
  • Street Cleaners: 20
  • Monorails: 18
  • Tractors: 17
  • Stingray Deluxe: 10
  • Airliners: 9
  • School Buses: 5
  • Cargo Ships: 4
  • Trains: 3

I didn't count Vertibirds because I think those are spawned, so wouldn't be accurate.

Oh, and there's also 16 cars and 1 motorcycle in pre-war Sanctuary. Interestingly, the Vault-Tec vans are the only ones that can be blown up.

Tip: Vertibirds can dock with the Prydwen

Did you know that the vertibirds often used for quick travel in survival mode can dock with the prydwen? I DIDNT!

So, when you are trying to travel to some locations, it detects that location as an interior cell and will not let the vertibird land there, for example: Vault 88, and Diamond City. You often have to land at a different location nearby and run to the location you wanted. Diamond City = Fens Street Sewer, Vault 88 = Wilson's Atomatous Factory or Jamaica Plains...

Well, for some reason, I just assumed the Prydwen functioned the same way, and I have always had my vertibird land at the Boston Airport, where I ran to the Vertibird on the Helipad to take me up to the Prydwen. YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THAT!

So for those who didn't know this; here you go!!

So, I ask; does anyone else have useful tips they believe I should know?
