This is my second time posting this because I felt too shy the first time.

Sadness hit me like a wave, so naturally, I went book shopping one last time this month. I picked up two amazing titles:

1. Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto
   I’m a sucker for food writing, but combining that with the theme of grief? I was 100% sold.

2. Narcissus and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse
   A story about the raging battle between flesh and spirit. I swear the universe wanted me to find this, especially since I debate the value of abstaining from worldly pleasures every single day. I’ve read Hesse’s Siddhartha before, and it was so profoundly impactful, so I can’t wait to dive into this one.
