I have recently renewed my 2 year contract with telus fibre internet in Alberta. I got 1gbps for $70 a month with $250 credit. My past plan was 1Gbps for $60. I think I got a decent deal but what other offers have you got?

My contract is up soon so I needed to check out the offers available. My current 2 year plan was 1 gig fibre with taxes is $62. They currently offer 1 gig fibre for $80 but with bank direct it would be $70. Now if I drop to 500 mbps it's only $60 after bank direct deposits. I doubt I would even see much of a difference being fibre between 500 to 1gig anyway. I tried to get the same 2year 1 gig for $62 but no dice. They also offered 50 dollar credit but I asked for the 24 month credit so I can get the same rate. They couldn't offer that so seems getting added credits may be more of a thing of the past. Have any of you got any other better offers please do share. Fyi in AB
