Dear HO: this is why we all hate you.

Geo-locked punches that don't think half the store is in the store.

GIF update that removes 90% of the useful information for stagers/dispensers, and does NOT make it available in a drill-down. It's just gone.

Express walks with seemingly no size limit.

Reversing wheels on OGP carts, turning them into safety hazards.

Getting rid of the TC's, purpose-built tools that are significantly faster than the Pixels, and with a battery that can more than last a day, instead of being nearly dead by lunch.

Using a third party for inventory that we KNOW don't care about accuracy, leaving us fixing counts for the next month and burying us in freight that we don't need.

Running every shift on skeleton crews that would struggle to get the post-inventory trucks done anyway, but then one call-in and everything is absolutely fucked. Front-end is always struggling, OGP is entirely unpredictable but often struggles with "proper" staffing, and when ON can't finish the trucks, cap1 can't get topstock and picks done, and it becomes a cycle of incomplete tasks.

AI search that can't figure out what "coriander" is.

A stocking process that runs topstock and picks... right after ON fills the shelves, and then never again. Not in the early or late afternoon when the shopping waves have happened, only when it makes the least sense.

Complete rearrangements of entire departments, just to fit in half a dozen new products. I've had several angry customers because of it, and why not? What problem was being solved by invalidating everyone's knowledge of the area?

For no apparent reason, none of the Walmart apps are creating notifications. MyWalmart messages, OPD customers arriving, nothing.

Seriously, what is wrong with them? How can they come up with this many terrible ideas that actively make our jobs more difficult?

I ran into our old PL the other day, and learned that out of every HO person they interacted with, the number of them that have actually worked at a store is zero. We're being run by people who have no idea how stores actually function.

Every HO person needs to spend one month per year working in a random non-academy store. They are far too removed from the consequences of their decisions, and I'm sick of suffering for their idiocy.
