Movie from childhood- Green Slime

Hi! I'm trying to find a horror-ish movie that I saw when I was younger.

I think it was made between the 90s- 2000s, and it was a more kid- friendly horror movie, think goosebumps style

I vaguely remember it being about a family of four, with a son and daughter (maybe older daughter and younger son?), and they're traveling. They wind up in an abandoned western type town. They stay in a creepy hotel where the parents sign in onto a guest book.

Turns out by signing the book, they get captured and replaced by fake parents? And the kids have to find they're real parents. I definitely remember this bright green slime being used to represent the evil hotel/evil parents

The kids end up saving their parents. The closing scene is the one I remember the most, where it's an epilogue of the family celebrating a birthday, but when they cut into the birthday cake, it oozes green slime. Ends on a cliff hanger, implying the kids never actually got their parents back

This movie was one I think my family rented, and it's been such an enigma to me. Would love to find it to rewatch it for the nostalgia lol

Thanks for the help!

I hate my hair dye

I went to a professional today to get my hair dyed. I asked for a neopolitan hair color (first photo) but since my hair has been dyed before, we agreed that the blonde wouldn't be achievable. Instead, we agreed to do a dark pink and a light pink

There is no light pink. It looks so orange/neon red to me. I'm trying to like it but I just hate it. And it's my front pieces that look the worst, its just so neon/orange. I can't put my hair into a ponytail without looking like a highlighter.

Is there any way to fix it? To make the front pieces less orange and/or a more light pink? Ik I'm probably being dramatic since I left the salon like, an hour ago. But it's just making me sad to look at

Edit: seems like my hair was too yellowy/ not light enough when it was dyed, to be a light pink. Idk if I want to try and lighten it anymore, just because of the extra damage. Any advice if just dying it brown would be safer?

Thank you for all the advice and help, it's really appreciated 💜💜
