Is it possible to get from purple to green without color remover/bleaching?

Hi guys, me again! I want to go emerald green, but right now i’m at a kind of faded purple and I don’t really want to color remove unless i absolutely have to. I wanted to know if it was possible to go from pic 1, my current color, to pic 2 (desired color) without bleaching or color removing, thank you all sm!

what color will my hair turn if i put dark brown over red? #hairdye#help

hey reddit! i’m someone with very little knowledge on hairdye or color theory and anything of the sort. a few years back i decided to dye my whole head bright red and i’ve been at it consistently since then. i’ve grown tired of the red despite it kind of being the staple of my appearance for the past few years but it’s time for a change! part of the issue here is ive never bleached my hair, don’t have the funds to get it done professionally, and i don’t wanna mess my hair up bleaching at home. if i were to get dark brown hairdye and put it over this red would i be screwed?? i don’t care if it isn’t perfectly brown and has red undertones and such, i just don’t wanna mess up to a point of no return lol

HELP! Bleached my hair and it turned pink

A little history on my hair, I stopped dying it two years ago, and didn’t really touch it because i had a baby. In march I dyed it back to a black and white split dye and I used a semi permanent black dye that was supposed to remove easy with the vitamin c treatment. I had faded it with hot water and clarifying shampoo before I did the vitamin c treatment and it came out fine, when I started to bleach my natural dirty blonde hair it turned a very bright salmon-y pink color. I didn’t have issues with the side I bleached back in march. The only thing I changed was I went from using the ion cream bleach and 20 vol developer to using the powder wella bleach and wella 20 vol developer. My friend talked to her cosmetologist friend and she said that I need a green based toner, but I cannot for the life of me find one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Wanting to achieve skunk striped hair

So I’m a noob at dying hair and using bleach. I’m really not sure how to do my hair, it’s dark brown fading to chestnut auburn brown with a pluck of hair that’s now faded red. Can I dye it dark brown first and then bleach the stripes or do I section my hair and dye both the colors at the same time? Can someone make a step by step and what I should use 🙏

Best option for getting rid of green?

So my sister is getting married next month and I’m in the wedding party and she told me about a week ago she is fine with my hair being “anything but green” my initial plan was to try and do pink to match my dress and her wedding colors but upon doing research going pink from green isn’t easy. I also have the option of just going black all over and giving my hair a break (I also want to do an up do and I’m gonna be real my bleach job underneath is NOT even or pretty) but I just know I’m gonna have fun hair withdrawals in no time 😂 suggestions?

Orange Hair? PLEASE HELP

I had some orange glow in my hair and you wonderful people told me it was probably gloss buildup/ underlying warmth exposed. I tried clarifying shampoo several times and a couple vitamin c masks and colorfix demi permanent remover hoping it would remove warmth. when that didnt work I tried covering with keracolor and dphuegloss++ (depositing conditioners basically).

I wanted to be done with dye so I decided to chop it off. Sad to sacrifice length. but it’s still orange. I am at my wits end. what happened and what can I do? PLEASE HELP ME!!

Dye recommendation ?

Maybe this is just an issue with my hair but every time i dye my hair the color falls out very quickly. like after 2 washes it feels like it’s fully gone. I’m a brunette and i dye it to give it a warmer look but the color washes out so quickly. My hair is damaged so Im not sure if that’s the issue or if it’s the brands i’m using. Anyone have a recommendation? I mostly just use cheaper hair dyes like garnier

Can I bleach recently semi-permanent dyed hair?

I just bleached my hair using the Manic Panic bleach kit, and it worked wonders! However I was feeling a bit different and decided to dye the bleached part orange, and I’m kind of not a fan. I used to iro or hair dye in orange and was wondering how long I should wait before bleaching my hair again. Or, an alternative, how long maybe the iro iro orange color will fade? 👀

cover up pink

so i have had pink year for going on a couple years now and kind of wanting to take a break with it. i haven’t seen my real colour really since high school but i do have some pics that have my natural colour. anyone have suggestions of covering and trying to get it close enough to my natural colour so i don’t have to have a weird grow out colour. the picture with blue is natural at top and the other is what my hair looked like two months ago when i got the pink done. both photos are taken in natural light if that helps. also brand recommendations would also be great! i am no professional so i am going to be winging it lol

Hair is way too dark - help 🙏

I know there’s a ton of home techniques for lightening/lifting color from brown or black hair. But how to you lighten dark hair with different color/hues in it?
I pulled up to the salon with the first picture - kind of a brighter fuchsia, darker magenta pink color - and left with dark plum/burgundy hair 😩 How do I get this at least a little lighter without stripping the color? 😅🫠😭

How to get this green out?

Any tips on how to get this green out and closer to blonde so it’s easier to bleach? I used Pulp Riot (semi permanent blue) and have been trying to let it fade or use color remover but nothing has worked so far. I want to be able to do black and red so I want as much of it gone as possible so the red doesn’t look super strange over this.

Can I layer arctic fox on top of other dyes??

I have pink hair and usually use the arctic fox colour Virgin Pink, i love it but i was looking for a more permanent colour. (i would love any recommendations lol) I tried out Got2b in Pink Passion and it turned out so peachy-orange and not at all the cooler pink i go for. i was wondering if i could just layer the Virgin Pink on top of it?? it’s a very very saturated dye and usually covers up anything, i just want to make sure i wont cause a horrible chemical reaction on my head…

the first slide is my hair now, the last slide is the colour i usually have my hair.

How do I get this to be a darker blonde?

The first is how I came home, literally gray. She offered to retone it today and I said yes. The second picture is after I clarified the gray out. And the third is how she toned it again. I specifically asked for a darker shade and she agreed that it could be done. I HATE the Draco malfoy shade and somehow it’s even worse to me than before. Looking for something that’s going to deposit color. Whether that be a mask, conditioner, etc.
