What am i missing ?

Hey everyone, looking for some insight from people who have been through a similar plateau. I’ve been lifting for years, originally going from fat to fit, and then bulking up to build a solid foundation. Because of my broader frame, I carry good muscle density my shoulders, biceps, triceps, legs, and upper back are all well-defined and looking great. However, my lower belly and chest fat simply refuse to budge, completely covering my V-taper and lower midsection.

For the past 4 to 5 months, I’ve been aggressively cutting carbs to try and strip this remaining fat off, but I’ve seen zero movement on the scale and no visual changes. My diet usually consists of boiled eggs with green tea in the morning (4–5 days a week), a quarter of a boiled chicken for lunch, and a home-cooked desi meal with just one roti at night. I previously tried ramping up my protein intake even further, but that didn't really work out well for me.
On top of this diet, I’m currently balancing a full-time job while running a Push/Pull workout routine paired with regular cardio sessions. Despite putting in the effort both in the gym and at work while keeping my carbs minimal, the stubborn fat on my midsection and chest remains totally unchanged.

Since the rest of my body responds well and holds muscle easily, I feel like I'm hitting a hard wall specifically with fat loss. Could my home cooked dinner be hiding unaccounted calories, or am I potentially under-fueling/stressing my body too much with work and training? For anyone who has successfully leaned out their lower belly and chest after years of lifting, what adjusted your progress?

How do i get OLD me back ?

Back in school and college, I was a total social butterfly. And very well know. But over the past 3–4 years post college, I ended up completely isolating myself at home mostly just binge watching movies, shows and studying with virtually zero social interaction.
Unsurprisingly, my social skills rusted out, and I developed a lot of social anxiety. Most of my old friends are now married or living abroad, so my old social circle is basically gone.

The Current Problem
I’ve realized I am terrible at initiating conversations, especially with women. However, once a conversation actually starts, my old skills kick in I’m good at active listening, keeping things interesting, and building genuine friendships if the other person takes the first step.

My job usually rotates me to different client sites every 2–3 months, so I typically only form surface level bonds with my immediate team, never the client staff. Right now, I’m on a longer posting. I’m on decent terms with both the guys and girls on my team, but I’ve kept every interaction strictly professional or academic.

Recently, a new girl joined the office (not on my team). Within her first week, she effortlessly chatted up half the office. We had a really nice, natural conversation, and it hit me: I miss this. I don't want to live in a shell anymore. I want to make real friends, hang out after work, and rebuild the active social life I used to have.

Where I Need Advice:

- How do I bridge the gap from strictly professional/academic talk to casual, friendly banter with my coworkers?

- What are some low-pressure, natural ways to initiate conversations with women without making it weird or seeming like I'm hitting on them?

- How can I rebuild my social stamina and confidence after years of isolation?

- Has anyone been in a similar hole and managed to climb out? Would love to hear your advice or any practical steps that worked for you .

Left on Read in Real Life

After a year and a half away from working out, I signed up for a new, spacious gym near my office. Since I worked full time, I usually went right after work, changed in the locker room, and trained during quiet hours. For the first couple of months, the gym was practically empty, which was exactly how I liked it.

Eventually, a heavy project at work forced me to stay late. Going to the gym during peak hours meant dealing with a much bigger crowd, so I put my headphones on, kept to myself, and got through my workouts.

During those late sessions, I kept seeing someone in baggy clothes and a cap lifting heavy weights. I didn't pay much attention until one day they asked to use the machine I was on. Looking up, I realized it was actually a very pretty girl.

Over the next few months, our routines started crossing paths. At first, she worked out with a female friend, but we'd occasionally make eye contact. Later, she went back to training alone, and we ended up sharing equipment and trading alternate sets. She’d often linger nearby or ask me for dumbbells, and I started developing feelings for her. Still, between our headphones and my own hesitation, I never really pushed the conversation further. A few times we’d chat briefly, but then she’d disappear for a bit, and things would stall.

Then, she stopped coming altogether. The gym felt surprisingly quiet without her around.

A while later, she suddenly reappeared. During a brief power outage, the lights went out, and when they flickered back on, she was standing right in front of me. I was so caught off guard that I didn't end up talking to her that night either. Shortly after, my work hours shifted again, so I’d only catch a glimpse of her finishing up on the treadmill just as I was coming in.

Eventually, her schedule changed to match mine again. One evening, she deliberately bumped into me and then waited near the CrossFit area, clearly giving me an opening to talk to her. Flustered, I just left the gym instead.

She never came back after that.

I never even learned her name. To this day, whenever I'm at the gym, I still half expect to see her walk back through the door.

Coworker Staring problem

So there's a girl at my workplace that I find attractive. We work in completely different departments and our desks are situated at opposite corners of the floor.

Here's the weird part: she stares at me constantly.
At first, I assumed she was looking at someone behind me, but even when she's walking in a completely different direction, she turns to glance at me.

Once, she was standing right in front of my desk talking to a guy sitting next to me, but the entire time she was speaking to him, she was looking directly at me.

Throughout any given day, we make eye contact multiple times across the office.

I'm a pretty quiet, introverted guy, so I don't usually initiate conversation. Recently, I realized I already had her on Snapchat, so I took a chance and sent her a message. She opened it and left it on seen.

Now I'm completely confused. Is the intense eye contact actual interest, or is she just aware that I notice her?

And if she was interested, why leave the message on seen?

How would you interpret this situation, and how should I handle seeing her around the office now?
