Tips for Reading

I just want to start this off by saying I know it is so normal for kids to not want to read, I remember as a kid I hated reading. However, I know it is good for them developmentally and would like to try to implement it a little more.

Right now NK is almost 3 and hates when I read to her. Even if I say "ok you don't have to read i will just read to myself" she gets annoyed and runs off. She doesn't have screen time so it's not that. Again I know this is normal I just wanted to ask because sometimes people have really good tips in here. I don't put any pressure on it and I have tried doing fun voices, letting her hold the book, or acting out with toys. Any tips?

Looking for advice

I just got accepted and matched and am meeting with my little in the office in two weeks. I am super nervous and just want to make a good impression. How does the first meeting usually go? Should I come prepared to do most of the talking? Then at the first meeting do you set up your second outing. I have never done this before and don't know anyone who has so I just want to make sure.
