Accident in Hyderabad where I was not at fault — need advice on pursuing compensation

TL;DR: 26F, had an accident in Hyderabad on Aug 11 when a car suddenly turned without indicating, causing me to fall. I had 9 stitches and a fractured toe that required surgery under anaesthesia. The other party paid some money toward the initial hospital bills, but it’s nowhere near the overall medical costs, pain, aftercare, and other losses. I want to know if/how I can legally pursue additional compensation and what steps I should take.

I’m a 26F and I had an accident in Hyderabad on 11th August. I was riding when a four-wheeler suddenly turned without giving an indicator. I had no warning and ended up falling because of their sudden turn.
I sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured toe, and needed 9 stitches. I also had to undergo a proper surgical procedure under anaesthesia.
The people involved in the accident did help initially and gave me some money towards the hospital bills, which I appreciate. However, the amount is very small compared to the overall loss and expenses I’ve had because of the accident.
Apart from the immediate hospital expenses, I’m now dealing with follow-up treatment, medication, aftercare, limitations on movement/work, and the physical pain and inconvenience caused by the injuries. There are also expenses that will continue even after the initial treatment.
I want to pursue the matter further and understand whether I can legally claim additional compensation from the person responsible, especially since I was not at fault.

My requirements are simple 1BHK/2BHK near airport as my office is in Kongar Khurd in gated societies.

Security is the only requirement.

Please let me know if anyone has any leads.
I have my own vehicle and can travel upto 10kms from my office.

TL;DR: 5 years in marketing in India, currently at 12 LPA. Official title is "Social Media Manager," but I actually do full-funnel marketing, media buying, and SaaS GTM strategy. Looking to jump to 14–18 LPA. Torn between doubling down on Growth/Performance or pivoting fully to Product Marketing.

Hey everyone, I could really use some objective career advice.

I have 5+ years of experience in the Indian market. My current salary is 12 LPA.

Here is my dilemma: My official job title has always been "Social Media & Content Manager," but my actual day-to-day is way broader.

While my resume screams "social media," the reality is:

  • I’ve spearheaded the entire GTM strategy for a major B2B SaaS product launch.
  • I build sales enablement tools (one-pagers, case studies) and work directly with Product and Sales teams to align messaging.
  • I manage ₹5L/month budgets on Meta/LinkedIn Ads with a solid 3.6 ROAS.
  • I’ve even closed clients and handled PR/influencer campaigns.

I’m looking to make my next move into the 14–18 LPA bracket, but I realize being a "jack of all trades" SMM won't cut it. I need to specialize. I have narrowed it down to two paths, but I have doubts about both:

Path 1: Growth / Performance Marketer

  • The Pro: I already have the media buying and ROAS track record.
  • The Fear: I’m worried that media buying is getting heavily automated by AI (PMax, Advantage+). I also hear the burnout in pure performance roles is brutal. To survive, I’d probably need to heavily upskill in Data Analytics and CRO.

Path 2: Product Marketing Manager (PMM)

  • The Pro: I genuinely enjoyed the GTM and sales enablement work I did for the SaaS launch. It feels more strategic, AI-resilient, and the pay ceiling in PLG companies seems much higher.
  • The Fear: Imposter syndrome. Because my past titles are "Social Media Manager," I am terrified that HR filters will auto-reject me for PMM roles before I even get an interview. I am considering taking the Product Marketing Alliance (PMA) Core Certification to bridge the gap, but I don't know if Indian recruiters actually care about it.

My questions for the community:

  1. In the Indian tech market (B2B SaaS / Enterprise), which of these two roles has better long-term job security and a higher salary ceiling?
  2. Is it realistic to pivot from a "Social Media Manager" title directly into a PMM role, or will I be laughed out of the room?
  3. Does the PMA Certification hold actual weight in India, or should I be looking at executive courses (ISB/MICA) instead?

Any brutal honesty would be massively appreciated!
