Monetized Facebook Account/Clippers

Hello! I have a rapidly growing social presence but I can’t seem to get monetized on Facebook even though I’m monetized on YouTube and TikTok. I hear FB is where most of the money is.

I’m currently posting on Facebook and doing about 10m views a month with great months doing 30m.

Is partnering with an already monetized Facebook page for a split of the revenue a thing?

I also don’t get all the clips out of my raw footage due to time. Is there a world where clippers would share revenue for access to the 5-7 minute of the best shots I get daily?

I could probably hit 30m every month if I had time to clip my own daily footage.

Adopted a Street!

In our town you can adopt a street for 4 years and they give you a sign! In return you have to clean it 1 time every 3 months.

I named it after the app I made for gamifying litter picking! I’m not going to lie this is the goofiest sign in town but I love it.

Is adopt a street a thing in your area?

Trying to make cleaning up cool: "Pack of Raccoons" is like Pokemon Go but for community cleanup.

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in and share a side project I have been working on! I'm trying to build it out to be like Pokemon Go but for cleaning up community spaces. You can go on, log your cleanups, compete for #1 spot on the rummaging leaderboard, and see what others are doing around on the community feed!

Im still figuring out how to get this on the Appstore (way harder than i thought hahah), and am still working through bugs but there are a bunch of us from around the world logging our finds right now and I would super stoked if you would like to join us (:

Pokemon Go but for Magnet Fishing

Hey all!

I just wanted to share a side project I've been working on! it's an webapp for Magnet Fishing / Metal Detecting / Ploughing.

These facebook groups and threads are all full of people asking about where to go, and where things were found and thought this would be fun!

I named it Pack of Raccoons! You basically get to record an area you found stuff, what you found, what you used to find it, etc and can drop a Pin (Dumpster) that others can check out. If you wanted to keep your tracks to yourself, you can also drop private pins!

There are about 150 of us on here right now and everyone was asking for a leaderboard and community feed to comment on finds and whatnot so I added those last night!

just thought it would be cool thing to exist and thought it would be cool to make cleaning up cool.

Let me know if you would be willing to try it out!

Let me preface this by saying this works if the account already has initial momentum, and people want your product. It won't work if you don't already have a solid product, content sourcing strategy or community management plan.

The account I ran this on was a DTC CPG brand.

We basically tallied up all engagements made on our instagram every 2 weeks. We exported the list of people who liked each post, commented on each post, shared us to their story, reposted us, and mentioned us in their content.

We assigned value to each of those items.

Likes were 1 Points.
Comments were 5 points.
Story Shares were 5 Points
Tags were 7.
Reposts were 10.

Then we gave each of the people who engaged with us a score.

We took the top 10, removed the points, and posted an IG story thanking and tagging our biggest engagers and offered the top 3 some pretty cool swag, and gave the rest discounts/ early access to new products etc.

We immediately posted a second IG story telling people what actions were worth what points.

Our engaged followers would see it, but it wouldn't live on our page. A cool, in-the-know kinda thing.

The first time we did it, both stories were shared like wildfire.

Our followers started going crazy. Every time we posted there were 5-15 people who would share our post to their stories immediately. 20-35 comments would trail shortly after.

We did that every 2 weeks for a few months and it was incredible.

There are some downsides you need to account for, like training the audience for a discounts, larger brands have to think about compliance, logistics of rewards etc.

But overall 10 out of 10. Would recommend.
