Hello!
I have a problem with my iPhone 16.
When I’m charging it I get this message telling me that the charge is on hold and that it’ll resume once iPhone cools down. However the phone is not warm at all. This happens multiple times per day, preventing me from even charging the phone.
Also, when I’m not charging it, it overheats when doing simple tasks such as sending WhatsApp messages or scrolling YouTube, to the point where the refresh rate drops it becomes impossible to use cause the display does not respond well.
I’ve tried everything but nothing has worked so far and apple says there’s nothing wrong in their diagnostic tool. This is already my second iPhone 16, both with the same issue tbh.
What do you recommend?
I got prescribed this combo after being on Symbicort for months without results for cva and shortness of breath. So far so good, I prefer this inhaler to the regular one, seems easier to get the medicine in, but that’s just my experience.
Anyone else on the same meds?
Hello,
I’m writing here because I’m honestly quite desperate and don’t know what to think anymore.
I had severe asthma as a child, to the point of hospitalisation as a baby. I used inhalers until around age 12, after which my doctor told me to stop because I was doing well.
However, during my teenage years I developed a persistent dry cough, almost like a tic. It was mostly dismissed as stress-related. About 6 months ago, the cough became significantly worse. I now have constant coughing, including severe coughing fits that can be very intense. The pattern also changed: sometimes it’s dry for months, and other times I cough up mucus.
I’ve seen a pulmonologist and did several tests. Spirometry showed generally normal lung function, with no significant reversibility, but a slightly reduced FEV1 (around 76% at age 25). I was initially diagnosed with cough-variant asthma and prescribed Symbicort (dry powder inhaler) and Ventolin as needed. I used them for about 3 months with no real improvement, except that Ventolin helps somewhat during cough attacks, but for a very short time.
I went back and had further testing including FeNO, chest X-ray, and a methacholine challenge, all of which came back negative. The only test which came back positive was eosinophilic cationic protein, that was really high, despite normal levels of eosinophils.
I also have constant post-nasal symptoms: a runny nose and a feeling of mucus in my throat. Nasal steroid spray helps a bit, and I’ve tried saline rinses without much effect. I also tried treatment for GERD (esomeprazole), but saw no improvement.
At this point, all tests are coming back normal, but I’m still coughing constantly and it’s significantly affecting my daily life. At this point I do not even know if it is asthma. My gp wants me to try a different inhaler such as Relvar Ellipta (Breo Ellipta as well).
If anyone has experienced something similar or has suggestions for what else I could investigate, I would be very grateful.
