Ok, that line cracked me up

In the later part of the Parade of horribles (chapter 95) , the AI had a line that I found very funny. ( Technically a spoiler. But not really a big spoiler )

Coping a Spell with a Gift cost

As the title says, what happens when you copy a spell with a gift cost ?

The opponent you gift ( say a card ) gets it from the original. But do they get a second one from the copy ? Does the copy have the added effect of the original (with the payed gift cost ?) or not ?

On the one hand , gift is an additional cost. And you don't pay any additional costs for copies.

But does the copy, copy over the additional effect ?
