Shivamogga feels so different. It feels like many people have moved to Bengaluru or even abroad. I'm seeing more and more houses lying vacant, with several put up for rent. Even on a Monday morning, the roads seem quiet. Shopping malls don't have the same buzz anymore, and there aren't many people shopping either. Is anyone noticing a similar trend in other Tier-2 cities, or is it just Shivamogga?

I had a kinda weird experience in Chikkapete over the last couple of days. In a few shops, when I was about to pay via UPI, the shopkeepers asked me to send an extra ₹200 online and said they’ll give ₹200 in cash. This happened in like 3 different shops, which felt a bit off.
In one shop, I got curious and actually took the ₹200 note and started checking it. The shopkeeper immediately took it back, which made it even more suspicious. Not sure what’s going on, but it got me thinking if fake ₹200 notes are circulating there.
Anyone else faced something like this in Chikkapete or nearby?
