Can we move time away from the school summer holidays so we can have a break in May or October?
The school term holidays box millions into taking their main holiday over a short period of time. With the heat waves making holidaying uncomfortable for so many is it time we moved two weeks out of the summer and into May and October meaning those half terms now offer another opportunity to take a holiday this spreading the amount of holidaymakers over more weeks of the year and this dealing with not only cost but overcrowding too.
The length of time the summer holidays take present a challenge to many parents with childcare arrangements too which will no doubt be better dealt with over a shorter stretch and the existing summer can focus more on indoor (air conditioned) activities on days where the heat becomes untenable.
How can we actually get schools/Government to do this if many agree?

What dead directors should join the collection?
Who of your personal favourite directors not yet in the collection do you think should be/would you like to see in? I think focus should be on deceased directors because we tend to see a lot of votes for current auteurs which is fine but can obscure cool directors that are less discussed.
