I'm working on my old Lotus 7 after putting it on the shelf for a while.
While I was waiting for the body paint to cure ready for wet sanding, I thought I'd crack on with the seats. I wasn't very happy - they looked incredibly plain. So I stripped it back and tried something I saw people do on model planes - pre-shading.
I'm reasonably happy. Just need to work out why I'm still getting a slight texture. Still learning...
My family have recently caught the Warhammer bug and my wife asked if I wanted to do a joint build with her. We've ended up sharing a Myrmourn Banshees set.
Full disclosure, I've been doing model cars for a while so I have a decent set of tools including an airbrush - still learning though.
Anyway, this is my first ever attempt at a Warhammer mini. Far from perfect, but I'm happy.
I really struggled with getting the citadel paints prepared for airbrushing - some of them ended up very 'gritty', causing constant blockages and sputtering. I persevered for this one, but I've invested in a paint filter for next time.
Gradually making progress on my Supra. I've been out of the hobby for some time, but I've finally got round to investing in some decent tools and creating a proper space for me to indulge in my hobby. The Supra is my 'practice' car before I tackle some of the nice or rare cars in my stash!
