24 RS tire issues!

Wife’s car has been thru hell.. I think it’s the low profile tires. She’s had blowouts, bent / broken rims and just plain air leaks. Has anyone else experienced an odd amount of problems with these?
Is there a similar model with more sidewall / smaller wheel that will bolt on?

Who was… That girl promoted on TikTok 3/4 years ago

She was a “rocker” who strummed a guitar and only had two dance moves. Always played with her headphones in her videos. Was obvious she was an industry plant, pushed way too much. She was younger, 20ish and has blond and pink hair. Possibly British?

3800 people waiting for 6.2 engines..

That’s what my repairing dealer told me yesterday after them waiting two days for an update on my replacement engine. When they say “back ordered”, that’s what they mean. It’s been 6 weeks for me and no idea where I am on that list (GM won’t say).

57 Bel Air updated steering struggles.

We recently updated the entire front end of my dad’s weekend cruiser. He wasn’t driving it much because it was plum wore out when he purchased it. From what we can tell it was a non power steering car that was converted. Here’s what we installed-
500 steering box
Tubular arms
Disc brakes
Spindles
All new ball joints
Drag link
Tie rods
Sway bar
The new steering feels tight but. It great. The box has about 1/4 free turn before engagement, the manufacturer says that’s normal. The car doesn’t self center and is very “positive”.. Always sawing the wheel to keep it on the road. It doesn’t necessarily dart, but it does kind of wander.
Local shops don’t want to spend the time to align it and diagnose. From what I measured, it’s toed out 9/16”.
Any tips? Appreciate the help!
