I want to try shrooms to see if it helps my personality

I've read multiple times that taking them even once can alter your personality long term. I have never really looked into how but it seems like only more for the positive.

I don't know if it's a real thing but I feel like I have personality dysmorphia. Sometimes I hate that I cannot be more loose or fun...smile more, laugh easier, be more charismatic and charming. And I am curious if something like shrooms would even get me a little closer.

Am I depressed, yeah probably a little but I don't think excessively. It's the way I have been since post highschool. I used to be the goofy, fun loving one of my friend group but something shifted in college to where my personality is heavier in the serious and melancholy side. It's just how I feel wired now. In fact, part of me would say that the goofy version of me in highschool was masking the true melancholy side. I don't always hate being introverted, sometimes I even love that part of myself, but other times it can be a real drag.
