XP Pen Pro 24 Gen 1 vs Gen 2 | Screen quality decline?

Recently purchased the XP Pen Pro 24 (Gen 2) tablet coming from my old Gen which lasted about 7 years now. LCD is finally starting to flicker and fail so I decided to upgrade and purchase the Gen 2 - 2.5k version. Instantly however I noticed something was wrong, the screen was far more hazy/blurry than the Gen 1 and it hurt my eyes pretty quick to the point I started getting a headache.

I've heard some people saying this is the fault of their new screen protector, which is honestly pretty poor if true, as my gen 1 has a third party textured screen protector that did not effect the image quality nearly at all. Camera shows the issue a little bit, but it looks worse irl than on camera.

Emailed support a few days ago and have yet to hear back, so I thought I would ask. Should I return this and upgrade to the Pro 24 (Gen 2) 4k variant or go back to the Gen 1?

Nvidia driver 595.71.05 black screen for Adobe Applications

Might be a niche issue for most people, but I run Adobe apps via wine and the latest Nvidia driver update pretty much bricked my editing work. Both Premiere and Media Encoder now have black preview windows when I open the application, that cannot be fixed by clearing the cache or swapping to software rendering.

I identified the problem as the Nvidia driver here: nv-nvp-open.nobaraproject 595.71.05 (Production - Recommended) as I had a second device with premiere installed. Rather than commit to a full update for this device, I only updated the Nvidia driver and the same glitch arose, confirming my suspicion.

I have not been able to find a concrete way to downgrade these drivers, any tips?
