Update from last post , Escape engine is here!
Mechanic is doing timing service front and rear main seal , PCV system, all gaskets and timing service, and the swap for 1500 total . Lucked out with someone I know 🙏 motor was 1100 shipped
So my PCV system failed me and then my engine blew up lol. And before I get my new engine put in I would like to clean out my intercooler and boost pipes and my oil lines . What is the most effective way to get oil and the glitter from my bearings out of all those parts ?
2015 Ford Fiesta ST
(I know they are LKQ I mistyped it 😭)
So I’ve been looking specifically for a 1.6 Ford
ecoboost engine assembly for my 2015 Ford Fiesta ST to replace mine in my car . and I’ve looked on Lkq and found plenty of motors that are 1500-1700 after shipping . I wanted to find more prices if there was any better and I came across their store on eBay and found multiple listings for 850-1200 free shipping , with the same type of mileage . 75k to 150k . And it just seems a little odd to me … like why is there such a huge price difference on their EBay store compared to their official website ? On top of that . Can I trust that it is a good motor coming from them. I’ve been all over the Internet and it’s just mixed reviews from everyone. I would like some advice on some legitimate mechanics on how to buy a used motor online even if it isn’t from LQK . Any answers are appreciated!
