Backside on one tire

So we just purchased this new (used) car. I did a basic walk around but didn’t get on the ground to look underneath the car. Once I did, however, I just saw this on the backside of one of the tires. All the others look normal. what causes this, and does it need to be replaced now? The tread’s not terrible but I was also hoping to not having to get new tires right away

Replacement trim?

New to the club as of today! (2019 Premium). The first thing I did when I pulled into the garage was to remove the front license plate holder. However, do they sell the replacement trim pieces for the gap now found in its place?

Can’t believe I ever sold this

One of my biggest car regrets looking back is selling this ’97 Maxima after only owning it for 5 months (it was 11yrs-old at the time), just because I wanted a “new” car. I would buy this car back today in an instant if it was frozen in time in this condition
