Is it still hypothetically possible to add new voice lines to legacy plans, just curious? Or do any new voice lines need to be Experience More or Experience Beyond 1.0/2.0 only?

Does anyone else have the supplemental SOC of GRNOPTOUT included with their T-Mobile plan, just curious please?

Does anyone else have the supplemental SOC of GRNOPTOUT included with their T-Mobile plan, just curious please?

From what I have researched about it (also please feel free to correct me, if I am accidentally misunderstanding anything here), it seems that having the supplementary SOC GRNOPTOUT attached to a T-Mobile plan can successfully serve as a permanent opt-out against forced plan changes and also plan price increases. TehPirate's SOC tool for Firefox showed the SOC GRNOPTOUT as one of the applicable SOCs in my T-Mobile plan.

Apparently T-Force is able to apply this extra SOC to plans, but only if the plans meet certain criteria like legacy flags and legacy plan features that don't have a direct compatibility linkage to modern plans, etc. It has to be activated before a hypothetical plan migration, but it may be harder to secure it now than in previous years.

Does anyone else have any experience please, with this particular SOC? Thanks!

Very close to 25 years of federal service in a few months, not yet 55, is it accurate that a federal employee can retire at any age with 25 years of service, and what penalties apply please if applicable if not 55?

Hi everyone! I am currently very close to 25 years of federal service in a few months, but I am not yet 55. Is it accurate that a federal employee can retire at any age with 25 years of service, and what penalties apply please if applicable, if a person is not yet 55? (I have worked for the same federal agency for 24 years, again soon to be 25 years.)

ETA: sorry, forgot to add that I also meet the requirements for a disability retirement as well. However, I am trying to avoid having to invoke this as much as possible, just because I had heard that it can take up to 2 years to qualify for disability retirement, all while in a non-pay status until disability retirement is actually awarded, that legal counsel is needed that I cannot afford, and that multiple appeals can happen are needed, if a disability retirement applicant is denied on either the initial request or first appeal, etc. I cannot afford to pay for legal counsel and would be highly likely to go bankrupt if I have to wait for a full 2 years for a hypothetical disability retirement to be approved.

On the T-Mobile subreddit, does anyone know what happened to the July 13 forced plan changes/price increases megathread? It is no longer pinned? (Posted here because my threads kept getting auto-deleted there?)

I have the free T-Mobile Hulu On Us benefit, had previously added Disney+ Select Legacy Disney + Hulu + ESPN Select bundle for only ~$6 a month before Disney ended the split billing feature. Is it worth it to keep free T-Mobile Hulu and change my Disney+ bundle to Disney+ with no ads only?

Hi everyone! I have the free T-Mobile Hulu On Us benefit, and had previously added Disney+ Select Legacy Disney (no ads) with Hulu (with ads) and ESPN Select (with ads) bundle for only ~$6 a month before Disney ended the split billing feature.

My question is, is it worth it to keep free T-Mobile Hulu and change my Disney+ bundle to Disney+ with no ads only? If I were to hypothetically do that, I would still get the free T-Mobile Hulu with ads benefit, and pay ~$11.99 per month for unbundled Disney+ only after my Amex BCE card subtracts $7 from the $18.99 base price?

Or...should I consider waiting to see what happens when Disney+ discontinues the standalone Hulu app and integrates Hulu into the Disney+ app, and just keep my Disney+ Legacy Bundle, just in case once Hulu standalone is discontinued and rolled into Disney+, things might eventually become more economical? Currently, with split billing discontinued, my $24.99 Disney+ bundle goes down to $17.99, after my Amex BCE credit card applies the $7 monthly credit?

Any thoughts please on the best way to proceed going forward? Thanks in advance!

T-Life Chat AI appears to have definitively confirmed that my plan will not be impacted by July 13th forced migrations...interesting because have heard that other reddit users with my SOC have been migrated...?

The T-Life Chat AI appears to have again definitively confirmed that my plan will not be impacted by the July 13th forced migrations...very interesting because have heard that other reddit users with my SOC have been migrated...?

Specifically: I asked the T-Life AI "Is it correct that my current plan of T-Mobile Unlimited Premium v4 International plan SOC UFAPR2D is not scheduled for the July 13th migration?"

T-Life AI answered back with "I checked your account and your plan (SOC UFAPR2D) is not affected by the legacy plan migration, so there isn’t a scheduled plan move showing for you."

Are certain T-Mobile plans 100% immune from the July 13+ forced plan migration? If so, how can a person definitely check?

Are certain T-Mobile plans 100% immune from the July 13+ forced plan migration? If so, does anyone know how can a person definitively check to see either way?

I have not received a migration text or email, have asked the T-Life AI chat agent and they told me that my plan was not affected and not scheduled to be migrated on either July 13 or August 1, and the migration t-mobile.com page link displayed a blank page for me. Still, I know there's technically no guarantee that I won't potentially be force migrated on a later or future rolling migration wave.

I have not received any price increases at all in my current T-Mobile plan, not since I switched to it on or around 2022, and no price increases either during the 2024 - 2026 price increase time period that many T-Mobile customers experienced and reported multiple price increases during. This would tend to make me think that I might be or could possibly be immune in theory, otherwise I would have thought I would have likely had price increases like most T-Mobile customers?

Again just to briefly reiterate, does anyone know please if certain T-Mobile SOCs or plans are fully immune to being force migrated? Thanks!

Any browser extensions left that can still reliably list our T-Mobile phone plan SOCs without generating error msgs? Thx!

Question please: are there any working browser extenions or add-ons that can still reliably show our T-Mobile SOC phone plan codes? I used to have 2 installed, the Tmo Helper one and the other one from TehPirate, each of which worked until about 1-2 months ago, but now both give error messages in both the Chrome and Edge browsers?

Also I tried asking the T-Life AI chat agent my current plan SOC, but it was unable to display it, because it says it cannot list legacy plan SOCs?

Iirc and as far as I am best aware, I believe that when the 2 browser extensions referenced above were still formerly working, they had referenced my T-Mobile plan SOC as UFAPR2D? I am currently on the phone plan T-Mobile Unlimited Plan w/ Taxes & Fees Inc, a.k.a. T-Mobile Unlimited TI Plan w/Premium Int'l v4, a.k.a. Unlimited Premium v4 International plan.

The reason I have the "D" modifier at the end of my assigned SOC was because before I switched to this plan, I was previously on Unlimited Freedom TI and then Unlimited Premium v6 TI, and according to Copilot AI when I had asked it, the "D" modifier just means that it was migrated to from a previous plan, vs. something like UFAPR2A which means you signed up for Unlimited Premium v4 International plan right away, without being migrated from a previous plan, etc.

Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to very kindly able to provide any feedback or input! 😊
