2nd time this happened
Last weekend when it was hot. MAM comedy asked if the crowd wanted to sit on the stage for the show. (It was a smaller crowd on a Sunday)
The same thing happened last year with Dungeons and Shakespeare.
Both times it felt like a better show since everyone was together and the show was fingertips away.
(Dear Bristol Management this was a great experience and it also shows the performers care about the patrons wanting them out of the hot sun and into the shade)

No more #1 years
They removed all the years the faire was voted #1 in the nation (last was 2021)
Some say its because the company that did the voting is gone.
Others say since the last year was '21 the faire would look bad seeing the huge run of back to back to back years and now nothing. And management doesn't want people thinking the faire isn't good anymore so they removed the reminder of the past.
What's your theories
