Potential FL wristband scammers yesterday at TT2

Yesterday I was at the park with my friends. At around 6 PM we were about to get in line for TT2 when a middle aged man and his son(?) approached us with a bunch of unused FL+ wristbands. He said he was selling them for $40. Well that is two red flags:

  1. There's no way someone would buy as many wristbands as he did for ~$200 then resell them for only $40. There's a good chance they just stole them off a counter, in which case those wristbands wouldn't even be activated, which is a scam.

  2. We were pretty sure soliciting/reselling was against the park's Code of Conduct anyway.

So my friend texted the number for security. No response. He then saw a supervisor standing nearby, so he went to tell them. They didn't end up doing anything to the two people. The people didn't move from their spot and had already sold a few more fast lanes. After waiting 10 or so minutes for security to come, we just got on TT2. 20 minutes later, as we're on the train launching, our other friend points out that those two were still standing there. We get off the ride and friend #1 texts security again expressing his frustration.

Ultimately after talking to a couple more ride operators, someone (a supervisor or security, don't know which) FINALLY got them to leave after ~45 minutes. They weren't told to leave the park either, just the general area as a warning.

So yeah that was wild. I hope for the sake of whoever bought the wristbands that they actually did work, and weren't scammed out of $40.

Useful skip for AOTCR Legendary

I went back and recorded this on Easy, but it worked exactly the same for me on Legendary. The elites at the end hallway don't seem to react to you quickly enough to kill you.

The last day of Barrels & Bites yesterday 😋

4 of us got 5 different plates of food and sampled everything like a miniature buffet. I think THIS is what the event is about: chilling with friends and trying all the food. 😊 I hope they bring it back next year.

What a bizarre choice... Wilderness Run? At 10 PM when most kids that age should be in bed (or will likely be tired and whining to go home)? Does anyone know if they did this in previous years?

Look who I found hiding outside the Conjuring House

Right outside the Conjuring House (formerly Town Hall Museum). Just peek through the slits of wood of the shed seen in image #2.

Just don't badmouth her. She WILL curse you. I made the mistake of calling her ugly yesterday and was subsequently hit with the WORST ride downtime ever. 5 different coasters where I was AT THE STATION as the ride goes down.

Millennium Force seat belt warning

Last year I was barely able to fit on Millennium Force with maybe half an inch of belt left over. I just tried getting on Millennium Force but I didn't fit today. The attendant said they shortened the seat belt this year. I have no idea why, they already have basically the shortest belts in the park.

So just a warning to anyone else who barely fit last year, try the test seat before getting in line.

For reference I'm 6' 3", 240 lbs. A lot of weight in my thighs.

EDIT: I should have stated how much more I needed to fit. The attendant tried, it looked like she was about half an inch away from getting it. So maybe the belts shorted around 1 inch?
