I found this in the surf while walking the beach at Sandy Hook in Gateway National Recreation Area in New Jersey on Monday. It looks eerily (lol) like an ear. I don't think its made of clay but maybe some sort of stone?

Can't tell if its natural or not, or what type of material it is, would love some insight if anybody has it. Thanks!

I found this in the surf at Sandy Hook between Gunnison and North beach on Monday. Can't for the life of me tell if its natural (would be crazy) or part of some strange art piece or something.

I found this while walking the beach on Sandy Hook in NJ this week. Can't tell if its natural or not, would love some insight, it was along the waterline past Gunnison Beach.
