I opened the app & it asked me to relog in. I selected sign in with apple as I always do & it said wrong parameters. which... is impossible since it only uses my fingerprint (yeah I'm on an old SE)
Being my parents' tech support I've been called in to help but I'm clueless.
My folks already had a quicksilver captial one card & online accounts for it. (though they still pay via check with mailed bills)
My folks have a discover card (and its own separate online account though they still pay via check with mailed bills) & got the "your account has been transferred" email. However when following the directions (log into your captial one account first) they would only see their captial one account & not the Discover account. When they logged into Captial One using their Discover credentials they see the fully transferred discover card, but it is not linked to their current captial one account.
Best I can figure after a lot of research is that the Capital One account has my dad (& his SS#) as the primary with my mom as the 2nd account. Where Discover had my mom (& her SS#) as the primary with my dad as the 2nd account. So I think capital one is seeing them as two separate accounts & households even though that's not the case in reality.
Any clue how I can now merge these accounts (or if I should even bother & just leave them separate)? The Captial One help menus are worthless & the AI bot just keeps spouting the same not applicable NPC dialogue chain. Thanks!
So what are we all thinking & feeling with the update? I kinda miss the countdown timer. Looks like the hamster only eats after a pet (but maybe it was always that way?)
I know I shouldn’t complain but I feel bad for the person making the survey. I’m asked to respond to an image or video & there’s nothing there. Then I get 20 questions about my opinion of the ad & feeling towards it & what company was the ad for? I don’t know! And you can’t say it didn’t work. So I’m just blindly filling out the answers sticking to middle as much as possible.
I get full credit for the survey every time. So like I said, I shouldn’t complain. I just feel bad

Visiting my folks for Mother’s Day (I don’t have spectrum, they do so this is new to me) & a weird glitch happened. My mom changed the channel from hallmark to our local ABC so she could watch her soaps at 2. But instead of seeing her soaps she saw the show before. While our phones said it was 2pm the spectrum cable box said it was 1pm & showed the 1 pm show as live. My mom sighed, said this happened all the time, and turned the box off & on again. Upon restart it now said it was actually 2pm & now showed her soaps instead of the show prior.
Clearly she’s found a workaround with restarting the system but she shouldn’t have to do that. Does anyone have a clue why it might “loose an hour” on occasion? And if it’s possible to prevent it happening again?
My mom seems to think it’s a result of rewinding a DVR program. But we were watching live TV at the time. Both internet & cable are provided by spectrum.
