The current arc of the manga that has been going on for awhile now has me a bit confused. It seems like everything is building up to the July 11th date and that on that date Kazuya will hopefully be himself and win over Chizuru instead of like the last date where he was super nervous and not being honest about himself and and trying to act all cool and Chizuru could tell.

My question is this:

What do you think is actually going to happen on that date? Because it can’t be anything good.

Everything happening is still pointing to Kazuya not being honest: he won’t break up with Ruka, he won’t reject Mami, he wants Chizuru to think he’s cool because he has his drivers license, he wants to work out to impress her, he wants to write a big poetic love confession to impress her. What is he DOING??? She doesn’t want any of that. I can’t see this going well.

What WILL happen though? Because if we just get another rejection, we already saw that. What could it be this time?

What chapter do you think season 5 will end on? I know each season does roughly 50 chapters but I’m not exactly sure where this one will end. I really hope they get to the part where they go out drinking and Kazuya confesses to Chizuru while drunk and barely conscious. One of my favorite parts of the series. That, and the day they fall asleep messaging eachother on LINE. I think that’s in the 240s-250s. Thoughts?

Looking for recs for a specific kind of romance, romcom, or drama anime. I really like enemies to lovers stories or stories with a tsundere female lead. I do like love triangles. For reference: I really liked Masamune Kun’s Revenge, Rent A Girlfriend and My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. I did not like Fragrant Flower, Horimiya, or the Bunny Girl Senpai series. I understand those ones are popular, but they aren’t my cup of tea and I guess not the vibe I’m trying to find.
