Spit out three large but all green leaves , chopped down to the base , and lo and behold the first leaf is far better than I was expecting ! 💯

Fun project I have been trying to finish for awhile.

Exotica and jade in there.

My girlfriend has a varigated mayari I’m hoping like crazy to get in there too 🤤

Every day during breakfast he will ask to be put in this bed and he will promptly ask for affection then he is OUT

Got this black velvet last year and since pushed three gorgeous leaves.

My question is , seems to be pushing itself out of the soil.

Imma take a guess and say it’s time repot lol

My queen is starting to do similar 😅

Thoughts ?

In somewhat of an experiment , I put a silver splash in my tool box ( I’m an auto tech ) , a calathea and a snow queen pathos to gauge what would survive.

So far the splash and calathea have shown growth under just a generic tool box led light and weekly watering.

The exotica I have at home is my favorite plant ever. So nice to have another variety at the other place I spend a lot of time.

3 months old and acclimating well ❤️

What are you guys using for fluid collection ?

Just had the shop re done and looking for ideas as clean up stuff is quite a walk.
