Started off with a hurricane by my house around 6:15 (seriously, sat in the Fry's parking lot and couldn't see 50 feet in front of me for 15 minutes), and now it has been raining for a solid 5 hours straight. Back door open just enjoying the sound of rain with coolish temperatures!
Was just complaining we didn't get anything a few days ago and apparently Zeus heard me complain! lol
I can't stand it. Have a client where we are about a year into litigation. There was a stipulated PI in place where she was getting thousands a month for doing literally nothing. Well, opc filed a motion to dissolve and we had oral arguments. Judge basically said it is unfair for her to keep getting paid that when all other issues in the stipulation had been satisfied and dissolved it.
Now she is unsatisfied with her representation when I had prevailed on multiple issues before and had the other side sanctioned for 10k. Not to mention she has gotten nearly 100k from the PI so far.
I guess I need to get over it, but man you get one ruling against you and suddenly all the trust is gone and the client thinks you are just trying to milk them.
