I got a call today about a COD parcel worth ₹550 from Meesho that I never ordered. The delivery guy said I could cancel it if I didn’t want it, but asked me for an OTP to process the cancellation. I was in a hurry and stupidly gave him the OTP without thinking.
Now I’m really worried. I don’t have any bank or UPI details saved on my Meesho account, but I’m still scared that I might be in trouble or that something could happen to my account/payment details.
The OTP message I received was from Meesho, and it came through the same message section where I normally receive my Meesho delivery updates, which made it seem legitimate.
What should I do right now? Is there anything I need to immediately secure or report? I’ve attached the OTP message and the message section it came from for reference in the comment
