Finally, a good shotgun

When I played the first splitgate, getting the shotgun was an immediate "this is where the fun begins" moment for me, a one hit but short range weapon was perfect with portals.

When I saw the movement of splitgate 2, I was excited and once I unlocked the shot gun and blasted my first enemy, imagine my surprise when I needed more than one shot.

But finally, 1047 realised that the high damage, low range shotgun was the best shotgun, paired with the speed and movement in empulse, you can mostly compete with rapid firing enemies. So after my complaints in the splitgate subs, I am happy.

More modes

Played the first splitgate many moons ago, didn't fancy the sequel or the next sequel, but I love this, so naturally I want it to succeed.

Id say as well as whatever the current focus is, there should be some time dedicated to new modes, most of what I hear on VC is people complaining about playing death match over and over.

So my ideas are,

MVP-one guy is in a buffed mech against everyone and whoever kills them becomes MVP.

Tag-you get killed by the enemy, you join their team till one is left standing.

Control but unlimited lives, really just that.

The most ambitious is a race of sorts, just something to use the movement on.

Maybe a MVP but the opposite way, one lancer against mechs.

I'm sure there's a lot of potential modes to be thought up, and i'd say more content would keep players.

Any suggestions?

Also would be cool to have the OG splitgate lobby, where everyone pops on a map while they wait for a match, but that's just me

Being valuable isn't rewarded

Before I start, I just like doing a good job, I'm fine with some annoyances but when they breach into excessive, that's where I actually start getting annoyed.

So started at this place known to have a high turnover rate, which is good cause I got the job instantly.

I worked hard and stayed until I became one of the longest lasting employees. And my reward is...

Work every Saturday and get an unpaid day off during the week so they don't need pay me overtime WHILST other departments get overtime.

Get paid the same as my under 18 coworker (under 18's are encouraged to work there by being paid same minimum wage as adults) whilst usually doing more work or just larger pieces of work, we are also understaffed yet no attempt of hiring new workers have been made since the last new guy left within 3 days.

Overtime has to be approved so working an extra hour usually doesn't get you any money at all, so when I have 2 minutes to clock out yet have to clean and fix up the place, I leave and get in trouble for not cleaning for free basically, keep in mind there's another employee who could've done that yet I'm the one in trouble.

Looking for a new job.

(Also no hate to the child worker, they do their best and are pretty funny)
