Sent packet in today - can't shake anxiety

After months of work, I sent the packet in today. Chose USPS after looking at prices of UPS and FedEx. So many choices in this process, it's hard not to work into a frenzy. I keep wishing I'd gone through it all one more time, but then how many times would I have done that? It's done. And I'm telling myself, if they return it, I'll resubmit. Now to help my sister and husband. (Of course, my parents' certified marriage license arrived today after I'd decided to submit without it. ha!)

Substitute for US Birth Certificate - G1

Thanks to someone on here, I now have an official document showing my grandfather's birth date, place, and parents -- one of which is my Canadian G0. They were not issuing birth certificates in Denver until early 20th C. I applied to the US Social Security Administration who just sent me my grandfather's Social Security application 1937. What's significant (as I understand it) is that these are his stated facts, not someone else filling in a death certificate. The document was emailed with an official letter from the SSA, and a certified copy is forthcoming. Thank you to this thread for helping me solve this problem! (Also cool. His application is on my birthdate many years before I was born.)

Project Jupiter ads on DATELINE

Has anyone successfully protested an ad campaign on a crime podcast you listen to? NM Data Center Project Jupiter is spending millions on ads and they've now picked one of my regular pleasures. I'm off to the NBC website now.

My G0's name varies on my certified documents. Birth (Ann Isabella), Marriage (Annie B.), Death (Annie B.) I have other documents like census and obituary which show Annabel and Anna Belle. Should I include other docs if birth dates and parents' names align on my certified documents?

C H O M P Food Hall

So why didn't anyone tell me about Chomp? I'm so tired of NM food and the sad selection for lunch in Santa Fe. Today I decided to try and find the cheese shop I'd heard about which somebody said had great sandwiches. Maps sent me to Picnic Cheese in Chomp Food Hall and bingo. Husband and I tried two different sandwiches, both incredible. We just as easily could have tried the other two places in Chomp-- Nath's Khmer or 2Floyd's Southern, which I can't wait to do. Easy parking. Plenty of seating. Thoughtful, delicious (and different ) food.

RETAYNE and Guatemalan Bedspread

I bought two bright blue Guatemalan bedspreads. The seller recommended using Retayne to seal their colors. The first bedspread seemed to work just fine. The second bled deeply leaving the water dark blue. Then it dyed the interior of my dryer, which I have now scrubbed to the best of my ability. The finished bedspread (#2) is definitely darker but still attractive. So, question is: in the future if I want to wash them use cold water with a small amount of gentle detergent? I've seen other posts that recommend doing that in the first place and skipping the Retayne.
