Some of you might know, that since last autumn, there have been talks between the Canadian broadcaster and the European Broadcasting Union about the possible debut of Canada at Eurovision. Initially there even seemed to be a possibility of Canada debuting even at this year's contest, but that ultimately didn't happen, but it doesn't seem like the topic is closed.

I know that Eurovision was pretty big in Australia prior to its debut, which was a large factor for it recieving an invitation, but how big is it in Canada? How many people watch it and how much do people talk about it? And do you think more people would be interested in it if Canada were to debut?
