Need guidance regarding career scope post pg derma opthal

I'm preparing for neet pg .

I needed some guidance and some inputs regarding career scope

So I'm thinking about which branch to take up in neet pg , i don't have clear option of what i want but i have clear options for what I don't want

Here are some branches I don't want

Pediatrics

Ortho

Surgery

Non clinical ( but still confused above this because of quality of non stressful life i may get)

Some branches which I have interest in-

Medicine

Derma

Ophthal

Obg

Let me mention that I'm from a middle class family, I won't have any financial support for setting up like clinic or something if I want to in future . So whatever i have to do I have to build it with my own money .

So the actual guidance I want is here for my assumptions below

  1. i kind of have an opinion that if I become a dermat or ophthalmologist, if I want to start my own clinic I'll need to have lot of financial investment for the machines and equipments compared to obg or medicine

  2. I don't want to entirely dependent on my 9-5 hospital job because me coming from middle class family I would want some extra source of income outside my 9-5 job . So for this I'm assuming medicine and obg will have little investment in setting up a clinic

Also I need not depend on tier 1 or 2 cities to make my living and salary if I take medicine or obg unlike dermatology or ophthal .

Because people in tier 3 cities and suburban areas like the place where I'm from ,people are least interested in their skin concerns unlike city people .

So I can't make much of money if I want to stay close to my family and stay near my hometown

So because of these reasons I'm assuming medicine and obg might be better for me .

Please don't assume I'm being money minded ,

I don't want to make crores , i just want to make enough to sustain my life , family, and ride the growing economy wave all by myself because I'll have zero financial support whatsoever.

Starting from my pg also ,i have to maintain my expenses all alone ,can't be asking my parents.

So I'm doing my best to get a govt seat .

Please give me your inputs and correct me if my assumptions are wrong and please share your experiences if you are from derma or ophthal about how feasible it is for someone like to make a decent career and which branch would be suitable for me

Apple pencil 1st gen battery draining too fast , 3 years of usage

So my apple pencil 1st gen battery is draining too fast nowadays like full down in just 1 day of usage

I use it for taking notes

I do use it whole day because I'm preparing for an exam but this much battery draining I have never noticed before during any other exam where I used the pencil whole day

Any inputs?

Vent

2026 post intern.

I have been so stressed lately,I'm finding it hard to focus on studying

This is me venting my frustration about myself

Long story -

I didn't study anything during mbbs years , slacked off alot . Studied in last few days for uni exams just to pass. I purchased marrow in 3rd year but used it only for uni exams , little bit here and there but i didn't make any use of it .

My college has this very bad environment where people just wanted to chill study before exams and mock and laugh at people who study for neet pg in mbbs years only. Well I tried not to get into their mindset but somehow eventually I gave in and become one among the sheeps and believed the same mindset .

Internship began, i tried to study during minor postings but couldn't study during hectic postings and idk why i had already kept this thought in my head that it'll be way to hard to crack pg in internship attempt so somehow didn't put any effort.

Back to post intership, since last 1.5 month I have tried to cover as much as I can doing literally my best everyday ,

The more I study the more I feel like I don't know stuff, and after few days won't remember what i studied also, it all feels like yeah I read this but why can't I remember.

Trust me in my best in these days to study as much as I can , the more I'm getting involved and realising how much I have to actually have to study and baseline where I'm starting from because i didn't do anything during my ug days is freaking me out like hell.

I'm realising people are doing so much better than me , way ahead of me , getting pretty scores in gts, and having little hope towards exam while I'm sitting here starting out from basics .

I'm regretting alot ! Like aaaaalllotttttt!

I wish I made use of my 2 year marrow subscription which I brought in 3rd year , i didn't have to suffer this much now. I feel like I wasted aot of time and money .

I'm trying my best everyday but at the end of the day I feel like I barely anywhere in the competition. And I feel defeated or useless at the end of the day. GT scores are too low.

I'm aiming for neet pg 2027 , i know it's not possible for me to get seat in 26 because first of all i don't have enough preparation and Im from UR , I need only govt clinical seat because i can't afford private seat .

I know i have a long way to go but i don't know theres just too much to handle knowing how much I'm lagging behind .

I was so anxious yesterday about all this that I felt feverish and I feel too tensed .

I couldn't share this with anyone in family or among friends , i was bottling up lot of frustration since many days and I just wanted to vent it out . So I finally did it .

Please give whatever inputs you can , suggestions, scoldings , share your story , whatever you think you can ! I would appreciate any inputs regarding this.

Also I'm using marrow and studying from home.

No offline class .

PLEASE SHARE YOUR DROP YEAR STRATEGY, HOW YOU STUDIED AT HOME USING ONLINE CLASSES ESPECIALLY MARROW, ANY EXPERIENCES, YOUR MISTAKES, DOS AND DONTS ETC.

Thank you for letting me vent here.

Accumulated coins

What to do with all the accumulating coins ?

After unlocking all trees in the store, unlocked all items, contributed to real trees .

I have ran out of ways to spend my coins

The only motivation back then in good old days was to make coins and unlock trees . Now the things have changed. Idk what to do with my accumulating coins
