Account disabled during checkou, no response from support (10+ days)

Hey everyone,

My Patreon account got disabled right when I was at checkout trying to subscribe to a creator. I received an email saying it was due to “suspicious activity” and they asked me to provide verification details.

I sent all the requested information the next day, but it’s now been over 10 days and I haven’t received any response at all.

I’ve already followed up once and still nothing. At this point I just want to get my account back or at least get an update, since I’m missing out on supporting a project I was really interested in.

Has anyone else experienced this? How long does it take for them to reply?

Banned from Pavlov VR Discord as a modder, despite no rule violations (with evidence).

I want to share a situation that happened to me as a modder in the Pavlov VR community, because there are some inconsistencies that I think are worth discussing.

I was banned from the official Discord server. The reason given by support was not a specific rule violation, but “continuing to escalate”.

Here’s the issue:

  • I did not break any of the listed server rules (I’ve reviewed them carefully).
  • My “escalation” came from repeatedly reporting harassment and targeted behavior from other users towards me.
  • Those reports were ignored, and the users involved were not punished.
  • Instead, I was removed from the server.

Support later responded with:

>“Moderators can remove any problematic users as they see fit”
“You were removed for continuing to escalate”
“We are not required to provide anything”

So effectively:

  • No specific rule violation was cited
  • No evidence was provided
  • The decision was based on “behavior” rather than rules

In addition to this, the process itself felt very unclear and difficult to navigate:

  • I was redirected between the Community Manager and support without a clear point of appeal
  • I was told to contact support instead of discussing it directly, but support then deferred back to moderation
  • At one point I was even advised to report Discord-related issues to Discord itself
  • Communication felt consistently opaque, non-transparent, and defensive, without clear answers or direction

At the same time:

  • Other users who engaged in harassment (which does break the rules) faced no consequences

This creates a situation where:

  • Reporting issues can be interpreted as “escalation”
  • Moderation appears inconsistent depending on the user
  • There is no clear or accessible appeal process

I’m not posting this to start drama, but to ask:

How is “escalation” defined in this context?
And how can users safely report harassment without risking punishment themselves?
What is the correct escalation path when moderation itself is part of the issue?

If anyone else has had similar experiences in modding communities or Pavlov specifically, I’d be interested in hearing your perspective.

I can provide links to messages or screenshots about the situation if needed.

[HOBBY] LF Unreal VR & networrking programmer for Multiplayer FPS VR (Pavlov VR like game).

Hi, I'm Sky. I'm a generalist game dev, mainly focusing on coding, game design and level design.

Even tho I haven't managed to finish a single game yet on my own, I have a few years of experience where I've worked for other people in different projects (both Unity and Unreal).

I'm looking to create a VR FPS game inspired in other titles, since there's no other competitors to those titles, and I feel like there could be more. I'm not really looking to make a ton out of this, but I'm looking to have fun and make something for the people that reassembles the best of other titles into a new game. (Basically, a hobby project just for fun, which I'd also like to sell at some point, but my main goal is for the fun of it)

Previously, I've been making mods for one of these VR FPS games, called Pavlov VR. I made a ton of innovative mods, from generic weaponry, to fully replicated laser guided and lock guidance systems with homming projectiles for rocket launchers, advanced vehicles with countermeasures, tons of anti-vehicle measures, anti aircraft artillery like CRAMs and Patriot Systems, airstrikes, emplacements, multi purpose artillery, flyable airplanes, advanced military collection that added mortars, cruise missiles, even an AC130, and a few other things like Stinger and Igla rocket launchers, and other things like power armor from Fallout, miniguns, even custom maps with in-game events like nukes and random airplane that crashes mid-game, to other more Battlefield-like inspired maps which add something similar to "levolution" (but always limited to the game's limits and hardware).

I'd basically like to make a better game than this one I've been making mods for, but that actually includes many of these things I've created into the base game. Also, since I would like to make something better with all this effort I've put into things. I feel like I could make it into something rather than keep giving away free labor to a game studio that has done nothing for me at all.

I can work on most the things related to content, once a framework is stablished. So I'd basically need someone who can help me and build the VR framework with working full body and grabbing system. I can even make things like the guns themselves, and extra interactions, but I still can't make some things like a full VR player or framework, I've only worked on PC games so far. So yeah, just need someone to help make a framework, then I can be on my own and do anything from there.

If it wasn't clear enough, I'm looking for a Pavlov VR like style, so no physics interactions at all, just an arcade FPS VR game with mainly TDM as the main gamemode, but with possibility to expand beyond that at some point.

More specifically, these are the skills that I'm looking for:
- VR knowledge.
- Replication/Networking knowledge (Unreal's default networking system).
- Capability to build most the backend for the framework.

As said, it's mostly for fun, but if I were to sell this, we could agree onto something later on.

If anyone is interested, my Discord is: skythedragon_official.

I can share some of my previous creations I made for that game there, since most of my work is now private, so I cannot link it here.

Have a great day/night!
