Did they nerf the Garden Knight at some point?

Hi! I'm currently replaying Tunic to get footage for a Youtube video. When I first played the game 4 years ago the Garden Knight was a huge challenge for me, took me probably 20 tries or so to beat. At the time I remember videos about the game also pointing it out as a big difficulty spike, used it as an opportunity to talk about the no-fail option and how there was no shame in it, so clearly I wasn't the only one.

Anyway this time I beat it on the first try? Not bragging, just confused. I'm not a particularly talented gamer. I was definitely expecting to have a lot of footage for the video of me losing to it. Is this the same version of the boss that I played in 2022 or was it changed at some point? I figured if anyone knows it would be the people here.

"Decoding Cowboy Bebop's Immortality" - New video essay by myself; close reading of Session 6 and how it connects to the show's ending

Hi everyone! Hope it's all right that I post this here. Very curious to hear the perspective of longtime fans of the series.

I know there are a lot of video essays about Cowboy Bebop already, but I think I bring a lot of new ideas for the table. For one, this takes analysis of "Sympathy for the Devil" specifically much further than currently exists on the platform, or what I could find anywhere else for that matter. It's a pretty rich text, and it demands a lot of effort to arrive at a well-supported interpretation. I also provide a theory for why exactly this session contains that unique synergy with the "The Real Folk Blues Part 2," which is not something I had encountered a personally satisfactory explanation for, and that was a major driver of my choice to make this video in the first place.

I also have a different perspective (a somewhat negative one) on the ending of the story that I haven't seen represented on Youtube before, and I would love to hear more opinions and angles on that. Lastly, I try at the end to center Keiko Nobumoto as the voice responsible for a lot of the greatness of Cowboy Bebop, which is again something I think has gone very under-discussed in video essays on the show so far.

Let me know what you think!
