Mapping out Headspace

Oddly enough I can get to Tord even though it's not connected because he said so but can't access the Cacophony even though it's right there. You get chased out by Zero.

Sighs

So, lets break this down. An intriject forms, a world is based on their psudeomemories, and sometimes they identify with that new world better. These people are forgetting a key detail: the middle step. It's based on psudeomemories. You know, those memories the introject already has and relates to. Why is it such a streach to say that a world specifically based on their memories would resonate with them???

Are number names in non RAMCOA systems allowed?

Pretty much the title. For context, we have a world with numbered non human characters and I identify as a member of this species. Should I just write out the number instead of put the number itself? Should I try to change it? If so, what do you suggest that has a similar meaning to the number zero?

It took 8 years

Our system was originally discovered at the age of 12 or 13. We brought this up to our counselor at the time. They didn't believe us which sent the system back into hiding wirh those memories about this attempt and the system blocked off.

We went from vibrant interactions in headspace and trying to work together to complete radio silence for YEARS. All this time wasted on treatments and plans that did nothing because one counselor shut down a preteen without considering that it could be real.

We ended up down a dark rabbit hole of denial and fakeclaiming which only made the lockdowns tighter because it became unsafe to even exist in your own brain. Because bring out the evidence would've caused a complete collaspe in our functions and we couldn't afford that.

We're just getting back to that point of open and free communication. We're just getting back to that point where all of these poor souls can come out and have a voice. Just because nobody can take children seriously

Influence or Subsystem?

Hi. A handful of us have this experience of having times where we either don't feel or act like ourself even though we can still identify it as ourself.

Feeling not like yourself is pretty self explanatory. It feels like ourself but our name feels wrong for some reason. I understand myself the most and have several names. I'm a kind and caring boy named Charlie, a self destructive piece of shit named Sean at different times, and all those other times where it seems like the name doesn't fit fully right

A few examples of acting differently are:

Our very masc headmate sometimes perceiving himself as a 13 year old girl. He still sounds the same and identifies as himself. Just as a 13 year old girl. His severe dysphoria completely vanishes.

Our friend questioning who was fronting earlier today even though it's still me. Also other behavior and switches in mentality (from pessimistic to optimistic).

One of us going from deeply in love to completely professional and apathetic around our partner. They normally crawl all over him but today they forgot he even existed. This specific headmates also sounds like another headmate who used to be this exact way around him.

Honestly idk what it is. Cause you can be influenced to act these ways by headmates without being a subsystem. Right?

Systems have creative hobbies. Systems are not role-playing their systemhood for clout. If they wanna rp, they go do so. But even though they act completely fucking normal to you, you still post this. Let people enjoy their hobbies without posting about it on a cringe subreddit.
