Test run

I probably looked like an idiot pulling over constantly to make adjustments. Drop bar kept moving, the whole stem also became loose, changing gears on this is the hardest thing I've ever encountered, etc.

Another update

Because people kept criticizing and after my own ride test I didnt like the old. I did buy some different levers. And I have grip tape, I just didnt put it on yet because I was still debating spending yet more money.

Finished

Well, she isn't the most elegant. And I had to use some..... not very normal techniques to get stuff to work (mostly using zip ties to hold the cables. Originals arent easy to find and last owner used tape). But she works. Shifting is odd and I'm not comfortable yet doing it. She is also fast, but I'm also not used to that as its thin and I got into a wobble doing so. But anyways, here is my 1960s Hercules 10 speed. Ready to go on the road again.

Cables?

So...... how's my cable job? Ive got some better C clamp style holders on the way for the rear cable. The originals were missing and it last owner had the cables on with electrical tape. There is also no hole on the bottom for cable guides to screw into so I'm running them over top. Back derailleur is working with only a bit of slack in the line that I cant seem to get out, need to finish the front one.

Needing help. Gaming PC crashing.

Hello, I am in need of help before I take my PC into a shop tomorrow to see if they can fix it. I bought a pre built gaming PC back in 2024 from Cyberpower. Everything was going good with and it worked well. I didnt have the funds to buy a proper higher resolution monitor at the time so I used a pretty old Samsung 32in TV for a bit. Then I got a 27in Samsung QLED Odyssey G5 monitor on sale and tried to use that. And then the issues began. Broken blue screen artifact crashing under load or randomly. Driver updates didnt work. The monitor however works fine on my PS4 and Xbox Series. I eventually worked up the courage to open up the PC and checked the internal wires. I found that the PSU and fans were using Molex connections and the pins had been bent and thought that was the issue. I just finished replacing all of those with better connections and a new PSU though downgraded from 850w to 750w. As soon as I put it under load again, however, it crashed. Any clue what it could be? The monitor? The motherboard? I've been told it should support this monitor or even 4K monitors, so what is going on?
